MyClique at Unbound Digital

Over 800 entrepreneurs, investors, business leaders, growth stage companies and start-ups from leading digital ecosystems around the world connected at this year’s Unbound Digital. Chaired by Yossi Vardi, the conference provides an ideal platform to meet with key decision makers, thought leaders, investors, entrepreneurs and global corporations. The unBound Digital community attracts those interested in innovation and the latest trends in digital technology.

Our team was excited to exhibit at the conference, connect with fellow start-ups and leaders in the digital community. It was a packed day full of talks by experts and a chance to explore what’s new in the space.

We headed to Unbound with one of our blogger partners – Whitney – who was not only introducing delegates to MyClique but also providing style advise on the spot. Our aim was to recreate the MyClique experience offline through Whitney’s instant style advise and feedback, and show that consulting with friends on mobile doesn’t have to be boring either! In less than a minute attendees could get feedback on their favourite items. We talked about everything – A/W trends, how to keep warm & stylish this winter and even… men’s socks! Who could have known!

Check some of the pictures from the day below and an interview with part of the team here.

Fellow start-ups we loved include Knomo (check their chargeable clutches, ideal for girls on the move), Nifty (developing a phone -charging belt and currently smashing their Indigogo campaign), Swytch (transforming your phone into a virtualSwytch-board with as many numbers as you want), Eyetok (lets you see what’s going on in the world live through other people’s smartphone video streaming broadcasts) and FABtotum (a 3D multi-purpose personal fabrication device).

We went home truly inspired by the creativity and innovation seen at Unbound. See you all next year!

A Dash of Fash x MyClique

We’re not sure if it’s the vibe in The Netherlands or just her but when we think of Iris from A Dash of Fash one word comes to mind: sunshine! Looking at her pictures you can’t help but notice not only the outfits but also her contagious smile. We just HAD to partner with her, right?

Besides a full-time fashion blogger Iris is also a graphic designer specialising in web, graphic, print, illustration & photography. Talking about talents, eh?

We caught Iris off-schedule for a quick interview:

What will readers find on A Dash of Fash?

A fun mix of playful, stylish looks, graphic design, blog tips, travel pictures and trend reports.

What inspires you?

Reading magazines like Dazed, I-D, Company or Elle. I also get a lot of inspiration from Pinterest, there’s so many beautiful images to be found that are super inspiring. Of course I too have my favourite blogs. I really love Style Scrapbook and Wish Wish Wish.

You are a great influencer not only among your readers but also among your fellow bloggers. You regulargly post advice for bloggers and how they can make the most of their websites. Why is that important to you?

I started getting emails asking for my advice more and more and that’s how I found out that people like hearing my advice. So I thought why not take it to my blog and share my knowledge with everyone. There are a lot of things I didn’t know when I started out and I’m sure I would have been very happy if one of my favourite bloggers shared how they got where they are now.

Why are you excited about the collaboration with MyClique?

I love how intuitive the app feels and the beautiful video you can share with your friends definitely makes this app into something unique. It makes browsing for fashion inspiration much more fun than just Googling everything.

Love her outfits? Shop them right away with MyClique!

New splash image, colour & backgrounds – true to our belief that shopping should be always fun and exciting we have changed our splash page from calming, earthy brown to energetic and bubbly hot pink. We have also updated our backgrounds with refreshing patterns to inspire you and to make the items you pick pop up better.

Notifications – You already know we send notifications to your friends when you create a new collection & ask for style advice. We have now introduced notifications when someone answers you, enabling you to check immediately if the girls approve the should-i-go-out-with-this dress.

Variety! – We love to keep you spoilt for choice and always aim to add new brands, categories and bloggers to MyClique to make you browse your heart out. In this new version we updated all our sections and added two new categories – sweaters and boots. Just in time for that fall/winter shopping then..

Whitney’s Wonderland x MyClique

If you are in love with the London fashion scene there is a chance you’ve already bumped into the bubbly, energetic and extremely stylish Whitney Valverde. Born in the US, raised in Costa Rica and currently residing in London, she is the definition of a fashionable multitasker. Whitney is the editor of Whitney’s Wonderland –  a blog dedicated to fashion, style, travel, and restaurants. She is also a passionate fashion designer, stylist and translator.

We first met with her during London Fashion Week and loved her energetic vibe, great personality and gorgeous style. Which is why we’re so happy to partner with her! You can now shop her outfits within MyClique simply by going into Whitney’s Wonderland section in the app.

Here’s what she shared with us on style, fashion advice and next season trends:
I would describe my style as Tropical Chic.  Being a Costa Rican, the beach background never leaves me, and I’m always including colour and prints on most of my outfits. However, living in London has influenced my style to make it more chic and polished!

I don’t leave my flat without my lip-balm.

I love shopping with my friends the most and asking opinions to them, and so do they, but with everyone being busy and living far from each other makes this really hard.  I love that with My Clique I can keep shopping with my friends, it’s so brilliant. I love all the products, I can shop and the looks I get inspired by and get them for myself as well!!

Look out for more of her fashion finds in MyClique in the coming weeks!

Boho & Braids x MyClique

We are very excited to announce that the lovely Sarah from Boho & Braids is joining our blogger network! Boho & Braids is a fashion blog focused on Sarah’s daily outfits where she gives fashion advice along with some real life colourful antics.

You will now be able to shop her outfits within MyClique simply by going into the Boho & Braids section in the app. Can’t decide which of her fabulous purses to make your own? Invite the girls and get a little help from your friends. We know it can be tough! Look out for more of her fashion finds in MyClique in the coming weeks. In the meantime, here’s what she shared with us on fashion, her style and the autumn must have items.

“I’m based out of a smallish sized city in Canada. I’ve always stuck out like a sore thumb, because I like to stay ahead of the trends and in Moncton, sometimes I’m way too early for the trend.

My style would be a mix of preppy and bohemian. I like to think that I dress for different occasions and can be a chameleon at any event or occasion. My must-haves for Autumn are Leather, plaids, cozy sweaters and scarves and anything forest green!

I’m so excited to partner with MyClique! As our world has become so technological that it only makes sense to start shopping online with our friends.  It’s the way of the future.  So many people already shop from the comfort of their homes and now we won’t have to do it in isolation.  Plus, now all MyClique users will be able to shop my looks if they like them, how could I not be excited about this partnership!”
